Consultation services are provided in collaboration and cooperation with social services, schools, treatment providers, medical professionals, court services, case managers, and other identified treatment team members. A number of consultation services are offered to support therapeutic change, cooperation, and accountability depending on the clinical needs.
- A Clinical Case Review with Recommendations is a great option when there is a longstanding case that has had multiple services and numerous providers in place with little success. This is an opportunity to objectively review what has worked and what has not in order to determine best next steps.
- The goal of the ConsulTeam is to move a case from “stuck” to an engaged family moving toward collaborative and effective solutions. This is a process of weekly team meetings for a period of 1 month (or longer depending on the referred needs of the case) that will provide clinical support and will facilitate the providers and case manager in effectively navigating the needs of children and families who have proven to be especially intensive and/or complex.
- ConsulTeams can be the next step after an assessment or a Clinical Case Review allowing for the review of results, and a facilitated review and update of the treatment plan, problem solving, and provided support in implementing the team’s plan. ConsulTeams may occur in person or via video conferencing.
